Panchaka Nakshatra

The last 5 Nakshatras in the 27 Nakshatra scheme which comes in the Akasha Tattva group from Dhanista to Revati comes under Panchaka Nakshatra scheme.The term Panchaka is Pancha(5) and Ka refer to Brahma who is a creator as per Hindu scriptures..The first two padas of the Dhanista are exempted from Panchaka scheme as they are in Capricorn which is a Kali Yuga rasi.


The effects of the Panchaka Nakshtra is that any positivity or Negativity will get the effects of Five fold...The results can be observed depending on the prevalence of the Nakshtra at the time of the event along with Vara,Tithi operating at the same time.


Dhanishta comes under Dvi PUshkara Nakshtra scheme and Purvabhadra comes under Tri Pushkara Nakshatra..The elements of Panchanga when aligned either positively and negatively will decide the final results.


The upadesa Sutra given in the books are as follows with respect to Panchaka Nakshatra:


pancake pancagunitam trigunam ca tripuskare|

yamale dvigunam sarvam hanistavyadhikam bhavet|

agnidaho bhayam rogan prajapida dhanaksatih|


Results of Panchaka:


Natural malefics planets placed in the puskara,panchaka or gandanta gives mixed results of both good and bad events.If the malefic planets are also good temporal benefics then initially bad results and then good results will follow


If malefic planets are also temporal malefic planets then evil will follow.If malefic planets are placed in exaltation or own sign then there will be some benefic result in the beginning while results can be profound if the avatar or tatva devata is prayed


If benefic planets are also temporal benefics and are placed in Puskara,panchaka or gandanta the give good results are sure to come provided they are also functional benefics


If benefic planet is a temporal malefic then evil results follows


Benefic planet exalted or placed in own sign will give good result when the devata is worshipped


Malefic planets placed in Dusthana are good while benefic planets are good in Kendra or Trikona.
