Planets are in constant move around the Sun as Sun is fixed and earth moves around the Sun in an elliptical motion. Ayanamsa:

There are two types of Ayanamsa calculations 1)Niryana and 2)Sayana In Jyotish the 1st method is used which is NIRYANA where the stars are fixed in nature and as we observe from earth we see that the stars fixed eventhough the earth moves around the SUN.

The precision of the earth changes every year and the difference between the Nirayana and Sayana is the final AYANAMSA. Most of the Jyotish community use Lahiri/Chitrapaksha Ayanamsa

HOW TO CALCULATE AYANAMSA:

For the beginning of the year:

A = 16.90709 x Year/10000 - 0.757371 x Year/1000 x Year/1000 - 6.92416100010001000

For any other date and month add the following also to get the correct

B = (Month-1 + date/30) X 1.1574074/1000

Ayanamsa = A + B

First we will calculate the value of ‘A’

A = 16.90709 x 2021/1000 – 0.757371 x 2021/1000 x 2021/1000 - 6.92416

Now we calculate the values of ‘B’

Ayanamsa = A + B =25.714422099 +0.013888888=25.7283109878(Final ayanamsa as on 31-12-2021)
